Selection Day!

Selection Day was all the way back in October 2018, where approx. 50 girls battled it out for the exclusive 12 spaces on the Sangam Adventure. In the previous weeks leading up to the day, each individual had thought over and prepared an activity to impress the leaders, and show the skills necessary for a trip to the other side of the world. Each applicant faced an interview process in which they were asked an INTENSE series of questions about personalities, hobbies and what each individual hoped to get out of a once in a lifetime opportunity like this one. Don't worry though, it was a relatively informal interview! After everyone had complete the interview process, they gathered together for an exclusive explanation about what the trip would entail and what it takes to go on international trips This was delivered to us by a previous traveler within the girl guiding community. After the day concluded, we anxiously waited for 2 weeks to find out if our hard work had really paid off. Luckily for all of us, we were SUCCESSFUL!! Woohoo!! Since this brief meeting with some of the girls chosen, we have had two meetups with those who were successful. So good luck to all those brave fighters who dare to apply next year.
