Travelling to Jaipur (featuring a well and a lot of singing!)

Today was a lot of driving, but we stopped at some really interesting places!

After an early start, most people slept for the first part of the journey.

Our first stop was an amazing step well, which was nothing like any of us expected. It was huge and very deep (it was like an upside down pyramid) and rainwater collected at the bottom, which could be accessed by walking down loads and loads and LOADS of steps.

After some more driving we went to Castle Ketona (which featured in the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel!!) and met the wife of the owner, who was so lovely and told us all about the amazing house, gardens and hotel.

The last part of the journey was mostly filled with singing, and when we arrived at the hotel everyone was very tired.

Dinner was AMAZING, especially the dessert- there was a crazy amount of choice!!
