Today we spent the day on a tour of Jaipur, including visiting the Amber Fort and going to a town bazaar. We started our day by making our way up the long hills of the Amber Fort. We had a very entertaining jeep ride up the steep

hills before beginning the ascent to the top of the fort. When we got there we saw many elephants being ridden, we had all previously decided that we wouldn’t ride the elephants, especially after our visit to the elephant rescue centre a few days before. After walking round the Amber Fort for about an hour. We took the jeeps back down the hill and back to the bus. We then headed to a jewellers where nearly all of us bought handmade jewellery with precious stones. We then took a rickshaw to the markets where we spent an hour haggling (which some of us were very good at). As we were having a shorter day, we got back at 3:30 and had a long nap and some of us swam in the pool. We’ve finished our full tour days now and tomorrow we start our drive to Delhi before flying back to England.
