Outdoor Adventure - Day 7!

In my opinion, today was one of the best days we have had at Sangam so far! Today, we woke up at the ungodly hour of 6:15 , as we were told that breakfast would be at 7 am. Dorm 3 however, were met with a lovely surprise this morning and found 3 mice running around there room, so its safe to say that there was a lot of screaming. By 7:30, we were packing our bags and getting ready to get on a bus for three hours, this was because today was hiking day! At 8, we were on the move and finally, at 11, arrived at Tikona Fort. When coming off the bus, we were shocked to see a stowaway in Kate's rucksack. One of the mice from Dorm 3, had climbed into Kate's bag and had obviously wanted to come hiking with us.

The hiking was definitely not easy, but time flew by and soon we were eating lunch at the top of the mountain. The view was spectacular however the rain didn't hold back and as we descended the mountain ,singing loudly, we got drenched! Due to traffic, we didn't make it back until 8, nevertheless we, of course, sang along to dozens of songs and slept for at least half the journey!

Overall, it was an amazing day and we had lots of fun and we all cant wait for tomorrow when we go and spend another day with our community partners!
