Our last full day at Sangam, started with a very enjoyable sleep in breakfast, which meant we all got up at the last moment to eat breakfast before our activities started at 10. We were challenged to go and explore Pune, in groups of 3, we were given 3 locations to find and answer questions about. We all had lots of fun, riding rickshaws, seeing new places and some of us even tried some street food, (it was safe, we promise).
Then we returned for a Hindi and Indian culture lesson, in which we all learnt to write our names in Hindi. After, we enjoyed chai as usual, and the tailor returned with our Sarees/Saris, which we all eagerly tried on ahead of India evening later.
Then Indian evening began, we all got dressed up and taught how to tie our sarees/saris, and we all took lots of pictures next to the pool. The evening continued, with traditional Indian art, such as mandalas and rangoli. This was followed by a traditional Indian meal, where we all sat on the floor and at with our right hands (we had henna on the left).
The festivities continued with Indian dancing, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The party wasn't over though, as it was one of the girls from Buckinghamshire's birthday, so her friends organised a surprise party, which involved music, dancing and food. But, when the surprise was over, the party did not stop so we all jumped into the pool for a late night swim session, but we were all fully clothed!!! (not in our sarees/saris)
We ended the right with some karaoke, group photos and tears as we knew we were leaving the very next day.
Our travelling adventure begins....

(sorry this is a day late, as you can tell we have been very very busy)
