Exploring Pune

Today we started the day with the usual flag ceremony, only that it wasn't the usual, because it took place outside! Luckily for us, it was sunny this morning. As a group, we were told that we were going out to explore our local area. We had many places to choose from, and we decided that we would go to a small mall (SGS Mall) and MG road, a high street full of exotic shops. we first took a ricksaw to the SGS mall, where we found familiar shops and restaurants, such as McDonalds, Pizza Hut, The Body Shop, and more. Many of us were excited to eat fo9od that wasn't Indian. (maccies was an extremely popular choice). After a few hours of shopping, we went back top Sangam and had a Hindi Class and Culture session, where we practised writing our names in hi8ndi(a very difficult task).

This evening, we can look forward to a campfire where we will be singing traditional sangam songs and sharing our campfire songs with other groups. the campfire is also an opportunity to do some badge swaps!
